About

I graduated from the University of Maine with a double major in New Media and Social Work. I enjoy picking up new skills in a variety of areas including visual storytelling, videography, community engagement, graphic design, and 3D modeling. I gained many of these skills through my work with the Virtual Environments and Multimodal Interactions (VEMI) Laboratory, where I got hands-on experience working with Virtual Reality technology that aimed to assist people living with disabilities.

I went on to work with the University of Maine’s Alumni Association as a graphic design intern, where I continued my work with the Adobe Creative Suite. At the same time I was is in the process of completing a year-long internship with the Multicultural Center at the University of Maine for my BSW.

After graduation I worked with an organization called Fluent Knowledge, who produce the Purple Principle Podcast. I later volunteered with the nonprofit Pathways Thru Aging as a marketing intern, and I started working as a part-time contractor for Standard Magic around the same time. Outside of work I enjoy traveling, painting, and playing the guitar and mandolin.
