Porsche Taycan Volumetric Video Effect

While working as a software engineer for Standard Magic, Porsche hired us to create two effects for an upcoming event. This augmented reality effect was created in the software 8th Wall, which specializes in augmented reality. The effect allows the user to tap the screen and see the designer of the Porsche Taycan appear in front of them. The artist who designed the Porsche Taycan recorded a volumetric video of himself talking about his inspiration, and we added the 3D models of the objects that inspired him to the scene. The combination makes the artist look like he is interacting with the objects in front of him.
